We are thrilled to announce the appointment of Richard Watson who has come on board as General Manager to lead the team at White Umbrella!
Richard has over 16 years experience in the event industry. Most recently he spent 8 years managing a division of Australia’s largest marquee hire company. Richard shares the same values held strongly at White Umbrella where quality of product and high levels of customer service are paramount. When asked where he sees the business going and his vision for the company he says, “I joined White Umbrella because there is no other company delivering such high quality marquees to the wedding, boutique corporate and private event market. My experience has been mostly with very large companies where it is difficult to offer the high level of detail that we can here. I am looking to build a product range with an individual style that will cover all sectors of the industry. I love the fact we are a small business but big enough to care."

We are excited to now announce that we will be launching a furniture range in the coming months which will be a distinctive style put together from years of listening to our customers and what you feel is lacking from the current market.
Since 2007 White Umbrella have set their sights of becoming the best marquee hire company in Sydney. We have never boasted being the biggest nor do we want to as we feel this could be to the detriment of our product. We now feel we have the systems and the right people in place to continue to deliver the marquee product that we set out to initially deliver, whilst at the same time introducing a small but high end furniture range to compliment our events.
